What we’re looking for…

Genres: Forever Yours is currently accepting romance submissions from all subgenres, including but not limited to: contemporary, romantic comedy, romantic suspense, western, historical, inspirational, paranormal, sci-fi/fantasy, futuristic, urban fantasy, steampunk, time-travel, and erotica. We are not accepting YA, mystery, general fiction, non-fiction, or poetry.

Word count: We are accepting novella length works (8,000-35,000 words), as well as longer works from 35,000-100,000 words.

Representation: Forever Yours accepts both agented and unagented submissions

What you need to submit to Forever Yours…

• • A query letter introducing yourself, the genre you are writing in, and the word count of your work.
• • A detailed 3-5 page synopsis.
• • Your completed manuscript saved as an RTF file. Forever Yours will only consider manuscripts that are complete at the time of submission.

Formatting: Do not include headers, footers, page numbers, or graphics on your manuscript file. All manuscripts must be submitted in Times New Roman font. Please include the following information on the first page of all submission package files: title of the manuscript, author name, email address, phone number, and word count of completed manuscript.

Once your submission has been received, you will be sent an auto-response confirming receipt of submission. Please allow 6- 8 weeks for our editorial team to respond to your submission. If your submission is not right for our list, you will be contacted and the file will be permanently deleted.

If we are interested in discussing your submission for the Forever Yours list, you will be contacted and will be asked to enter into a written publishing agreement governing publication.

Forever Yours is all about discovery—we are opening our doors for the first time to unagented authors, and we’re eager to find talented new writers! With a digital production schedule, we can publish works more quickly, and experiment with stories and genres that haven’t yet broken out in the print marketplace.

Forever publishes a rich and varied group of authors, and has launched the careers of New York Times bestsellers Elizabeth Hoyt and Larissa Ione. The Forever Yours imprint is a natural evolution for the Forever program as we look toward publishing the next new stars in romance.

Why should an author publish with Forever Yours?

Forever Yours offers a complete publishing package: editing by Forever editors, top-notch cover design from the Forever art team, a dedicated publicist, Netgalley review copies for bloggers/reviewers, social media tools and training, targeted marketing and advertising budget, and an experienced digital sales team with long-standing relationships in the e-marketplace.

How many titles can we expect from Forever Yours per month?

We will publish 2-4 titles a month, a mix of original titles as well as classic romance backlist from Forever authors.

Where can readers buy these books?

Forever Yours titles will be available for purchase at major e-retailers. Our e-books are compatible with all reading devices including: Smartphones, iBooks, Nooks, Kindles, Sony E-Readers, and Kobo.

Will there be print editions of Forever Yours titles?

For works over 50,000 words, there will be a print-on-demand option available to readers.

For authors, what kind of contract terms should they expect?

We offer advances on projects over 35,000 words, 25% net digital royalties, and quarterly royalty accounting.

How will Forever Yours protect the authors’ works?

All of Forever Yours titles will be DRM protected.

What is Forever Yours acquiring?

How long will it take to hear back from a Forever Yours editor?

Once the submission has been received, the author will receive a confirmation email. We ask that authors allow us 6-8 weeks to review the material. Should a project be rejected, the author will be notified, and the material will be permanently deleted from our files. If we are interested in discussing your submission for Forever Yours, you will be contacted and will be asked to enter into a publishing agreement.
